Astrological forecasts for the UK General Election 2015

At the moment this looks like the hardest election to call for many years, so it should be a good test of forecasting.

 "The most sensible reading of all this is that David Cameron will gain an outright majority at the next election and the coalition will be over, and as a political force so will Nick Clegg."

While not predicting who will form the new Government, Patrick Arundell makes some predictions about the election and its aftermath:

After the 2015 general election, UKIP will have several members of parliament, truly becoming an influential and potentially powerful force in British politics. The Conservative Party will not do as badly as some would like to think. The Liberal Party will almost disintegrate after severe losses and will be forced to fight for its very survival. It will wave goodbye to Mr Clegg. The Liberals will not be a serious fighting force in British politics for many years to come.

It is highly likely that during the Year of the Sheep, Ed Milliband will lose the leadership of the Labour Party. His successor will be unsuccessful in many ways. The party will continue to struggle to find an identity and meaningful policies. The opinions of the British public will be voiced more by UKIP than any other political organisation.

2013 to date

I'm still reading horoscopes assiduously but haven't had anything much to say, so haven't said it.

This year there have been a few consensus predictions that have, on the whole, been wrong. Eclipses didn't bring great fortune or disaster, etc. An important relationship issue in May was accurately predicted and that helped me deal with it in a more considered manner, so that was a win. A much less important but nevertheless accurately predicted matter occurred at work this week; I didn't deal with that as well although I had been warned by 2 astrologers. 

But on the whole not a good year so far for predictive accuracy. Perhaps, overall, there is still the 30 - 40% accuracy that helps you make contingency plans but no more than that.

Spot on, even though it isn't a clear prediction:

You could come up against it when you do someone's bidding only to find they've moved the goal-posts. This could be the last straw. More than half the problem is that although you know you can be flexible - you also know that the person concerned is unhinged and/or totally unaware of practicalities.

Brave Astrologer -- last leg

Happy New Year - and a slightly different forecast for this first day of 2011. Every sign has a ruling planet (yours is Mercury). The days when the Sun makes a special aspect to this planet are worth ringing in your diary. They are likely to be significant, action-packed days for those of your sign. So, ring the following dates on your calendar or diary and at the end of the year let's see what happened.
