Happy New Year - and a slightly different forecast for this first day of 2011. Every sign has a ruling planet (yours is Mercury). I haven't been very good at tracking these and didn't comment on the most recent ones. So on a scale where 0 is ho hum:

August 17. + 2. Lovely Day.

August 22. 0. Ho Hum.

September 26. +2. A surprisingly good day. Things moving along well.

September 28. A good day and things seemed to be moving ahead. Say + 1

Oct 2 was +2 -- a great day and I had loads of energy. Nothing earthshaking happened but pretty good. Lovely to see family and friends. A pity that all the good vibes of the previous week (see 26th and 28th) came to naught but the prediction wasn't that anything would be created but that they would be good days, which they were.

Almost finished on 22nd Sept

Forecast on 22nd September included:

"During the past several weeks you've had little choice but to deal with matters involving a tricky combination of home and family. While it one point you may have wondered if they'd ever be settled, things are nearly resolved".

And after 15 months, they were indeed closed this week so it would have been almost there on the 22nd. This week's forecast from the same person picked it right again:

After having sorted out issues involving loved ones or intimate friends, some straightforward but others frustratingly complex, you`re feeling more relaxed with others than for ages.

The small things

As much as anything, it is the accuracy of small things that surprise and provide spooky moments. Here is a part of yesterday's forecast:

Forms related to a planned trip with a group of friends could arrive.

Granted it isn't unqualified. But still, blow me down, we are asked to fill in our requirements for equipment for a ski trip with friends in January.

August holidays

Sometime during the first week, you may opt to go to a nearby location, in close in proximity to your home, if you didn't already do so at the end of July. That will be a fun excursion and require very little planning - perfect! Gemini always loves to be spontaneous. Watch August 1 when Venus and Uranus collaborate - it's a great day to be spontaneous.

Later, in the days preceding the full moon, August 13, you may enjoy a longer trip, possibly overseas, or to the opposite coast, possibly to a place near water. Water is indicated because Neptune will be so very prominent at this full moon. You'd return within four days of this full moon, so if you have your choice, leave well before August 13 so that you have time to enjoy yourself, and plan to be back no later than August 15.

June eclipse -- second thoughts

Quote one:

The second eclipse June 14 will have to do with a close alliance in love or business. You will either forge a new relationship, or end a troubled one.

Quote two:

If nothing came up as a result of the eclipses in Gemini and Sagittarius in June . . . to the point of the June 15 eclipse, July 26. . . plus or minus of four days. (I'edited some irrelevant words)

That certainly was spot on.

Well this might be spot on -- of course I hope it's not but suspect it is.

Excitement generated early in the week could fizzle out when it becomes apparent that it will take longer (much longer) to reach a solution to a long-term problem.

Great excitement early in the week when one of my big problems suddenly moves much closer to a solution (after some years). But it might take a lot longer to actually get it behind me. We'll see
